RAGA Cell (Women Empowerment Saga…)

• To make students aware of gender equity
• To motive and Inspire girl students in their pursuit for excellence ‘
• To educate girl students on women specific health issues and measures to be taken.
• To encourage greater participation and  to develop responsible and value oriented leadership in Female students.
• To promote awareness of their social and legal rights and to equip them to stand against gender violence and gender discrimination.
• To create a conductive counseling for female gender to share their problems

Ever since the inception of the RAGA cell has been striving to promote awareness among the girl students and educate them on gender specific issues in the areas such as health , legal, career and social. To realize the above mentioned  objectives, the responsibilities of coordinator are:

• To coordinate the faculty members to organize guest lecturers in the concerned areas such as health ,legal career and social aspects.
• Act as a signatory for the committee in all purposes
• Represent the committee and the college in the matters involving the relevant association.
• To monitor and council girl students of their department, in case of requirement.
• To conduct competitions to encourage the girl students to express their ideas.

• To spread the objectives of RAGA among the girl students
• To bring to the notice of the faculty representative of their respective department, if any gender specific issues arises among the girl students
• To identify interested students in all acclivities
• To help faculty members in organizing different events
• To collect the data for each and every events under the guidance of the faculty member.
• To interact with students for new ideas to implement
