TRAINING:
With a view to bridge the gap between company standards and the competence of students aspiring for jobs, much more supplements have to be provided. What’s more, RISE is well aware of the fact that its students come from rural areas and so, in order to make them competent to get a job, intensive training must be given to them in enhancing their skills and their language abilities. This herculean task is undertaken by RISE by innovating different programmes viz. RISE BHASHITHA, RISE SPOORTHY, and RAP.
INTERNAL TRAINING
Human potential is the focal point in job market irrespective of field where it is absorbed. The level and magnitude of competition is alarming the output of professional institutes to combat the roaring competition. The students should be job-market-savvy. The role of Educationists in this regard is manifold in preparing the students and training them to fit into the requirements of the job-market.
We offer market absorbent areas of study apart from the classroom training. The students are to be trained and equipped to enter the job-market with intent confidence and faith in them. In this direction, we have made a humble and honest attempt to establish an Internal Training committee. This got activated by bringing a highly effective training programme. A formal plan has been laid-down to invite trainers from the industry along with the in-house trainers.

“To facilitate a productive training and learning environment in the institute by motivating students towards an efficient and enjoyable educational interaction through exposure to research based, scientifically-proven and innovative teaching –learning methodologies, to promote high class research in education, to create and develop between the faculty and students for a new and sustainable paradigm of higher education, with the ultimate aim of producing human resources of the highest professional and personal quality”.
OBJECTIVES:
- To prepare students to learn beyond the syllabi and texts
- To train students through periodical in-house training and industrial visits
- To motivate students to pursue higher education through competitive examinations
- To create Centre of Excellence in the emerging technical advancements
- To give broad education to the students on recent areas of development through interactions
- To conduct industry specific training programs

SCOPE:
The internal training committee is a forum for college faculty. It will provide advice and support for the implementation and monitoring of the college curriculum and subsequent training needs and deliverance.

OBJECTIVES OF MEETINGS:
The Training Committee will meet as required. A face to face meeting will be arranged for discussion
Responsibilities of the committee:
- The Internal Training Committee will define its terms of reference relating to the college’s education and training activities and submit them for approval and subsequent implementation.
- Reviews procedure which relates to the College’s education and training programs
- Updates on recent developments and trends in specific fields of study and directions in training modules development
- Consults widely with students, academic staff, professional / industry leaders on the content and directions of the proposed training
- Prepares training modules and evaluation reports for remedial measures
- Develops a strategic plan for the development and implementation of training programs
- Monitors the outcomes of the College’s training activities
- Monitors the quality of the College’s training activities
- Supports the development and implementation of teaching and learning initiatives such as workshops, seminars, e-learning programs

COORDINATOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overall training procedures planning, supervision and coordination
- Responsible for arranging meetings with training faculty and student members for training planning
- Sets agenda for committee meetings and recommendations for the future activities of the committee
- Maintains the records of the status of all the members
- Responsible to take the lead role in liaising with and responding to external training consultancies
- Being the main point of contact with regard to internal training execution and presentation
FACULTY MEMBERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking initiative to meet and exceed the needs of the students in the competitive world.
- Involving the student members in defining expectations, the nature of training to be delivered and the timeframe.
- Finding the gap between the university curriculum and industry expectation
- Checking the learning of the students
- Following up with the students on their satisfaction with the training
- Reporting the findings to the Coordinator for further action
STUDENT MEMBERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending the meetings of the Internal Training Committee for understanding of the plans and execution process of training
- Providing information related to the actual training procedures and receiving process of the students
- Voicing the students aspirations related to internal training
- Giving information related to slow learners and their difficulties for further action
- Discussing and motivating the students for active participation in the training program
- Reporting the grievances of the students related to the training programs
RISE BHASHITA:
It is a communication skills syllabus specially designed by the DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH. It is uniquely designed curriculum with activity oriented approach to make students grasp the different techniques of English learning and speaking with almost little effort. The training modules of the syllabus start from the First year First Semester and continue in every semester till the student completes his course.
RISE SPOORTHY:
Creating conducive environment is very instrumental in giving students abundant practice with speaking English. Students ought to speak English effectively to prove their mettle. RISE Spoorthy, the English speaking club, has been established with a view to enhance the students’ practice with speaking English. To attain such lofty aim, the club observes an English speaking day every week, organizes various competitions pertaining to communication skills in English and conducts workshops on communication skills by inviting eminent trainers from the corporate sector.
RAP:
The most pivotal aspect of technical education is practical learning. A technocrat must be capable of applying his knowledge to find solutions to the problems of society. Rise Academic Plan comprises various technical training modules aiming at training the students to fulfill the technical needs as per the requirements of the corporate world. As part of this plan RISE provides its students with software training viz. C, Java, Dot NET, Cloud Computing, Coding etc., aptitude practice, and special training in core technologies of each branch of engineering.
WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES:
To provide the additional inputs to students RISE organizes workshops by inviting esteemed intellectuals of various disciplines to the campus. These attempts have resulted in making students obtain outstanding knowledge in their subjects and also in getting them exposed to the latest trends in the technological world. On the way to gaining ultimate wisdom, conferences that are conducted on a regular basis on our campus also play their crucial part. This was clearly evident when we organized an International Conference for all engineering students and management professionals in the year 2015.
