Science & Humanities Department is a supporting department to all Engineering and Professional Courses of Diploma, B.Tech, MBA and MCA Departments. In addition to Basic Sciences like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, here the students are exposed to English and Environmental Science. There is a symbiotic relation among Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering. Broadly speaking, Engineering is primarily a realm of the applications of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, for the benefit of the society. A thorough knowledge of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry is, therefore, indispensable for an engineer to excel in one’s chosen field of Engineering. Knowledge and proficiency of English language has become a primary requisite for every professional student in establishing today’s career of cut throat competition. Communication skills along with a command over English language play a crucial role to enable a student to succeed in one’s academic as well as professional life. The educational system has a major role to play in creating awareness on environment among people. Universities, being centers of excellence and higher learning, have a special responsibility to transfer pertinent knowledge on various global, regional and local environment problems and alternative measures to young generation, so that they can develop wisdom to work for sustainable development. In the present days, the importance of leadership qualities is escalating day by day. The study of Management Science caters to this specific need of grooming competent managers.
